woots!!! haha.... yea... i jus came back from OBS Ubin... i mean... woah... it was total madness... fun man... really... didnt expect it to be to fun =]

so im gonna like do an ubber long blog post... heh...

Monday
i woke up at like... uh.. 5.55am... -_-" i mean... going for camp already still need to wake up so ubber early!?!?! nevermind... i reached pungol jetty at 9.30am... and waited ubber long... reacher ubin at 12.30... i mean... 3 hrs wait!?!?! haiz... monday was the "sianest" lah... not much activities... slack... snore... oh.. but the food.... ahh.... food was great... heh.. actually not... haha.... breakfast, buscuits... lunch, buscuits... dinner... cook by ourselves... dun ask wat we cooked... it was... ugh...

Tuesday
sea expedition.... meaning, kayaking... this was fun... haha... ubber ubber fun... ok... argh... no inspiration..... i mean... i am ubber sleepy... i cant freaking think... anyways... woke up at like 6.30am... i slept like... uh... 12.30 wake up.. sleep... 3.30 wake up, sleep again... then 5 + wake up, sleep again... then 6.30 wake up... -_- cannot sleep lah... this was the nite b4... not tues nite btw... haha... anyways... kayaking was ubber fun!! i love kayaking... prob cus i kayaked b4... haha... well... 1st we took a kayak, 2 to 1 kayak... then we had capsize drills... 1st taught us how to capsize, then how to get out... then we had to capsize in the open sea and another kayak had to save our boat... then we headed for an ubber long 5hr trip round abt 1/4 of Ubin... whew... tiring man... haha... but that was the fun part... u noe... teamwork and sh*t like tat... haha... and right now, one part of my arm is dark and the other part is like fairer... -_-... i dun need tat man... i dun need this kinda freaking tan... like the argentina flag... uh... go see the flag if u dunno wat im talking abt... u noe... argentina flag... middle is white... lol... anyways... i think its argentina... if im wrong, correct me... heh... sleep was good today... slept thruout... haha... cus of the tiredness i guess... the ground was full of small pebbles and rocks... but i still slept so well... so.... for a good sleep... go to OBS... haha... jk jk.... but i really encourage ppl to go to OBS... haha... rocks... btw... tuesday is the day that ppl dun get to bathe... yea... i hated the stickiness feeling... ugh...

Wednesday
today was the really tiring part... u must be thinking.. a 3 hr hike... how tiring can tat be... right... i was carrying a freaking 15kg bag... now... think again... argh... anyways... the 1st thing we did was to build a raft to carry the team around a quarry... 0_o... why issit always the same damn thing??? i mean... can camps get more creative??? every single camp i went to, i had this river rafting activity that required us to build our own raft... i mean... creativity please... sheesh... anyways... quarry water was refreshing and clear and clean... appreciated it cus of the "no-bathe" nite... haha... then we carried out ubber big and ubber heavy (15kg) backpack for an ubber long and ubber tiring 3 hr walk to a new campsite... btw, if i had not said yet, we changed campsite every single day... so we had to unpitch and pitch out tent every day... haiz... anyways... we hiked to a new campsite... and there were SHOWERS!!! AHAHAHAHA!!! i was ubber happy at that time... haha... it was great... showered for abt 50 mins... yea... 'round there.... happy day... =] slept damn early and woke up damn late... haha... lol... good sleep... hehe...

Thursday

last day... hehe... was ubber happy... we woke up at 7.30... everyone... and the instructor tol us to meet at 7.30... sharp... haha... late... but he was ok... our instructor was cool... haha... yea... one of the best instructors around... haha... cool guy... he was watching the Barcelona vs Arsenal match on his TV so he slept late... so he woke up late... so he tot we were early and waiting for him... hahahaha.... ubber funny lah... btw... barcelona 2, arsenal 1... and there were still ppl saying arsenal wld pwn barce... -_- pls lah... summore say wat, arsenal 3, barce 1... sigh... haha... no offense of arsenal fans though.. personally, i dun give a sh*t abt soccer... haha.... anyways... today we did rock climbing... guess wat... i reached to top... =] yayness...

Friday
wat shld i say??? I FREAKING SURVIVED OBS... I GOT HOME!!!! =]

looking back
great... look at the way i arranged the post... looks like sum compo... heh... anyways... OBS was really really great... b4 i went, i was like... OBS sucks... OBS is stupid, I hate OBS... but i guess i proved myself wrong... haha... it was ubber fun... really...

i guess this wld probably be one of the most memorable experiences in my life..

one thing i wanna share... on thurs nite... we had a nite walk thru a forest... alone... ok... in last year's youth retreat, we had the same thing... nite walk... i did not dare to do it... this time... it was different... sumthing really helped me... to be exact... a song... and of course, also God... the song... hm... its an old song... its called, Guide Me O Thou Great Jehovah... yea.... i mean... it really spoke to me... thru trials, God wld guide you thru it... and dun worry... i mean... i sang it in my heart... and i felt warmth... from above... dispelling all fear... all anxiety... and looking back... i cld really feel God's presence during that short walk... His presence in my life... and it was great... it was awesome... and i jus wanted to praise Him... praise His name... that walk really gave me the time to look at my life, re-commit myself to Him... and to thank Him for all that He has provided... experiencing God... its a valuable experience... and it was really a time of peace, quiet and reflection... and thanks.... thanking God for everything, for my home, my family, my friends, personal items... my life... thanking Him... and i really thought... God leads... He leads and guides you... for He is an awesome God, with unfailling love... faithful love... so praise Him... praise His name!!! walking thru a dark place... was something i never wanted to do... He gave me strength.. His love gave me warmth... it was a shining light in the darkness... light in dark times... a guiding beacon... like a lighthouse... shining and guiding you in dark and stormy times... guess wat i wanna say is tat God leads... and praise Him for that... Amen...
