Panic!

for starters, school was fun. only for today. but i am never ever going to enjoy the sea of homework to be completed over this ridiculously short weekend. seriously, we should petition for a 4 day school week. and notice me saying school week, not work week. figure it out yourself. not too hard to figure out.

i took a bus to school today. well, a variety of factors surround this. firstly, my mom broke a bone in her foot so obviously, i can't step on the acceleration peddle and the brake for her. secondly, my dad was in hospital, overnight, cus he was due for a checkup and the doctor was late and it ended late, private room with an average sized television seemed a good way to spend the night in. so it was like this, that i woke up at a ridiculous time in the wee hours of the morning to board a bus to school. so now i know how others feel like when they wake up so early. sleepy. yep. could hardly keep my eyes open.

school timetables are always problematic. its impossible to have a perfect timetable that conforms to the students' needs. for starters, having chemistry for the first period isn't exactly the best way to start the day. apart from the dozing off in class, we don't really absorb much information. as our chemistry teacher rhapsodises away, we absorb a mere 23%* of the information nailed into out heads. and we lose about 99.9%* of the 23%* absorbed. which leaves us with practically nothing that we remember. which in turn leads to incredulously horrific results in tests, be it class tests or common tests. so; this shows, that timetable planning should be done by yours truly. haha...

*educated guess

compositions are not exactly my forte. especially when it comes to english compositions. i'm practically throwing smoke, beating around the bush, and adding baseless, unsubstianated arguements which are supposed to support my point. supposed. and my command of the language can't be said to be one of the best in my class. so, given the above circumstances, the second period was a drag, and it was something that i really, really, really was not looking forward to. so one period was wasted on one and a half pages of crapping.

the 3rd period however, was fun. maths, always fun. so a new math teacher. well. our math teacher went to Beijing for a week so this new math teacher came. and he happened to be from China. right. so, well, undoubtedly, his teaching methods and style is inferior in many aspects. he's probably a fresh graduate from NIE or something. but he's actually a very nice guy. well. you can't find many teachers that can be your teacher, and at the same time, a friend. so this last math lesson with him was, well, the last lesson. right. and a fun one too.

so the rest of the day passed by very quickly. when you have lessons that you enjoy, it never seems enough, because time seems to pass too quickly, just as you were beginning to enjoy it. geography, and literature. well. my humanities. something that i really enjoy. and of course chinese, which i enjoy much more than english. i don't really mind doing 3 chinese compositions as compared to 1 english compo. although verbally, i use english more often. oh well.

somehow, something very, very interesting happened. i enjoyed my CCA. well. that's something that doesn't happen every day. i hate to admit it, but it was fun. oh wells. the main "fun thing" was the badminton after the training and a 1 hour chat with my friends. sitting down and chatting, building stronger bonds. i did not really expect to do such a thing with school friends, more of chatting with church friends. but it was enjoyable. the coach joined in as well and was talking about his NUS orientation. man. the description of it is enough to send me to Zimbabwee or someplace else to avoid the NUS orientation. haha...

well. sadly, no drumming this Sunday. or, well, no letting Jazmon drum this Sunday. haha... Band B, well, had to claim their slot back. haha.. but it is a blessing in disguise. cus the next time we play next month, we get the second Sunday =]

well. so thats about it. yea... =]
