haha... so im one year older today... officially... ok... so... issit a good thing?

because the irony here is that although it is a joyous occasion that should be celebrated, an unfortunate incident might have just diminished this spirit. i said so yesterday. my mom fell. so we see the irony in all this. my birthday, celebrated in hospital, on a hospital table. but still. i thank God. i thank Him for this day, that i can celebrate, or rather, commerate, the day that i came to this earth. the day that i was given life by the eternal God. by our Father in heaven.

i thank God, for preserving my mother. i thank God that i was only a broken bone in the foot, and not a broken bone in the skull. i thank God, for giving me this opportunity, once again, to cherish, not only my mother, but those around me. for now i see the fragility of life. and i yearn to appreciate every moment of it, and every one who is in it. i thank God. i thank God, for everything.
