should marco materazzi be punished? after he was floored by Zizou, probably the best footballer of this generation, Zizou has been portrayed by numerous newspapers as a violent man. but how so? how guilty is zizou? well, according to zizou, materazzi said some words that insulted his mother and sister, nothing to do with racism. but he didn't mention what materazzi said. at the same time, the italian defender has, well, defended himself with the same old phrase: "i didn't say that" or the likes. is that the best defence the defender can come up with? *mind the pun* is he at a loss for words?

now. the according to the papers today, 32 out of 50 people polled felt that materazzi should be punished, with punishments ranging from banning, to fines, and counselling. and zizou's mother said she wanted to cut off materazzi's testicles for insulting her. ouch.

well well. personally, although i support italy, well, i feel that materazzi is guilty. so what if i support italy. although i support the new world cup winners, i respect zizou more. i mean, his arguements are more substianated as compared to materazzi's. what he said was indeed true. he said that "with 10 minutes more to the end of my career, would i do such a thing just because it gives me pleasure?". i don't know if it is quoted word for word, but it is something like that as said in the papers. so well, long live the best player in this generation, and hope materazzi gets slapped with a ten year ban or something. haha..

now lets get out of this topic that we have been circling around for many many days.

one day spent at home with parents may not be appealing to us youths. but i found it, well, enjoyable, and it really gave me a chance to appreciate people around me, people did not spend much time to appreciate. especially with my mother's broken foot, she spends much of her time at home, and the time i spent with her was indeed what you would call quality time.

laughing with her. something that i had not had the chance to do for very long. talking, enjoying each other's prescence. helped me to appreciate her more, and then i thank God, i thank Him for someone, someone who cares for me, someone who can stand all the crap that i have been dishing out for these short 15 years of my life, especially these 2 years or so; i thank Him for allowing me to finally appreciate her.
