ah. a day of rest. tomorrow as well. haha. 'cher day was ok. the celebrations in my school was a little boring. but overall, ok. went to visit primary school, stuff like that. normal.

now. about movies. 007 Casino Royale is actually coming out soon. November 17. Casino Royale was actually a 007 spoof, as someone (forgot who) won a case against Cubby to have rights to screen the film. this, of course, was along with Never Say Never Again, a remake of Thunderball. however, MGM bought rights to the two films, so, every single Bond film belongs to them. so, Casino Royale is a new remake of the Ian Fleming book.

i think i can say this will not be a good film. with the breakthroughs in technology, the effects will definitely be there. the main crux of the matter is that the storyline is a little problematic.

Firstly, Daniel Criag will be the new Bond, replacing Pierce Brosnan, which is one of the best actors to portray 007, maybe only second to Sean Connery. Daniel Craig however, is not really like the rest of the other actors to portray Bond. over the years, we have had Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and of course, Pierce Brosnan. Daniel Criag, is the only blonde Bond. thats the problem. James Blonde. ok. so i'm going on about the newspaper things that have been going on. he may be a good actor, no doubt, but still, its different.

Secondly. The absence of one of the most integral roles in 007 history, Q, also known as Quartermaster. after The World Is Not Enough, the seemingly immortal Desmond Llewelyn passed away, and he was replaced by a certain "Clease" clearly a less skilled actor. however, in Casino Royale, the role of Q is non-existent. there was an instance in the past where Q was left out of one of the shows, and it was clearly a mistake. they're making the mistake again.

Thirdly. The storyline. the story is about 007 before he had the license to kill. so, why is M still played by Judi Dench? before everything, M was played by Bernard Lee. so if this is before M was played by Judi Dench, then why is M played by Judi Dench?

Lastly. Where is Moneypenny? haha. yes. this seemingly unimportant character is a, well, trademark of 007 films. she's missing. not that i care really.

ok. so i'm thinking this Bond film may not be that nice. but well, i'm a Bond fan. i'll still catch it. haha.
