just finished PTL practice. was ok. much better than last Sunday. the Holy Spirit was there. amongst us. yes. we are doing this for God, not for our self glory. we are not performing, we are giving thanks, and leading others in thanking Him. He has done so much in our lives, much more we can comprehend or remember. to God be the glory.

after the PTL practice, i just spent a short time, just praying. maybe 5 minutes. tomorrow is PTL, and we just have to worship and to thank Him with clean hands and pure hearts. so everyone, pray. ask for forgiveness.

i prayed. for that 5 minutes, it seemed, seemed to be much slower, much much slower. i just brought everything up to Him. confessed all my sins, all i had done, everything that is unpleasing to Him. i thanked Him for what He has done. the list is infinite. neverending. i can never recall everything He has done for me, but i thank Him. that short amount of time i spent there in the seat, just praying, it was the best prayer i've had in a very long time. i realised how sinful we all are. so very sinful. and the song played in the background, Once Again. once again i look upon the cross where You died, i'm humbled by Your mercy and i'm broken inside. once again. humbled. i felt, felt very bad. very humbled. but yet, thankful, that despite all i had done, our Father in heaven sent His son down to die. and i just felt sad, but yet at the same time, very much thankful. and i thought about all i had done. things i've said. maybe sometimes when i was insensitive, sometimes when i piss people off. and i prayed that He would help to mould me, change me to be a better person.

thanksgiving. its about giving thanks to Him for what He has done. yes, the songs may not be fast, may not be great, but its the heart of worship. that's what its about. i'm sure that tomorrow, as everyone lift their hands and their hearts in one voice to Him, no matter how good or bad the worship is, it will be pleasing to His eyes. for it's the heart of worship that matters.
