ok. after watching the Matrix Revolutions again (i taped it), i finally understand the whole thing. in fact, i spent today watching Matrix, Reloaded and Revolutions. So apparently, the whole Matrix thing is a game. a game played by the Oracle and the Architect. so Neo and all the peeps are all pawns, with Neo being the greatest pawn.

then in Revolutions, Oracle allowed herself to be turned into the Smith so that he would gain her future sight, thus explaining Smith knowing that he will win and knowing that he has to say: "Everything that has a beginning has an end, Neo." So apparently, this was a jolt for Neo to sacrifice himself because Smith always calls Neo "Mr. Anderson". Neo knows that that Smith is the Oracle speaking through Smith

so. Oracle said that she intended to unbalance the Matrix. Neo and Smith are opposites. Action, reaction. Introduction of Neo into the Matrix brought about the manifestation of Smith. Smith's only purpose is to eliminate Neo.

In revolutions, at the start, we see Neo in a train station with that Indian guy and his daughter and wife. apparently, his daughter was not allowed into the Matrix as every programme in the Matrix has to have a purpose. Without a purpose, it will be destroyed.

So when Neo allowed Smith to take over his body, becoming a Smith himself, Smith lost his purpose in the Matrix, which was to eliminate Neo. Thus, he was deleted, explaining the white light which destroyed Smith.

So in the end we see Oracle talking to the Architect. Apparently she had won the little game and everyone just died. The end.

so that's all the Matrix is about. surprising how i can interpret movies but i cannot interpret Literature. sigh. i wish i could interpret lit like i could with chim movies like the Matrix. sigh....
