aiight. long post man. all about the trip to Australia. sheesh. i'll try to make it as short as possible.

yeah it was good. the trip was nice. the thing about Australia is that there is extremely fresh air. extremely good air. you breathe much better there.. the air is great.

anyways. got on an Emirates flight to Australia. a 7 hour flight. reached Melbourne at 1am Melbourne time. so i was beat. tired man.

anyways. the next few days was kinda like lazy. cause it was free and easy, just with my family, so we went on this crazily slow pace. yeah. went to Phillip Island, if anyone knows where it is. it's this place where there are penguins. yep, penguins. cold obviously. went to this "Penguin Parade" which was just some stupid little penguins walking from the sea on to shore. it was freaking cold i tell you. it was like at night, and there was this terrible sea breeze and i was there, not watching the little fur balls waddle on to shore, but rather, freezing my freaking ass off and hoping the penguins will get attacked by owls so we can all go home.

but they didn't get attacked by owls. damn. so i froze my ass off on the beach while my family was enjoying the furry stuff waddling like retarded cotton balls on the beach. yeah. anyways. on the way back to the car, we kinda saw these two penguins, uh, mating. in fact, a lot of people gathered there, so, being Singaporeans, we all got curious and went to see what was happening. and there it was, two fur balls mating. and hell, they make a hell lot of noise. heh. and this pretty much tells us a lot. i mean, it is proven that humans are, in fact, the only living thing that mate face to face. yep. Penguins mate, uh, you know. but of course, humans mate face to face, unless, uh, they decide not to. uh, yeah.

swell. then we went onto the Great Ocean Road. "woah" you say. but it ain't that fantastic. i'm not one who enjoys the view. i'm guessing the Great Ocean Road is so "great", cause the road is so FREAKING long i could've freaking slept in the car. boring. man, boring.

but anyways. along the Great Ocean Road, good seafood. very very good seafood. cheap and fresh too. haha. had lobsters, prawns, trout, salmon. hell! that was great food. and it was cooling too. very cooling. great wind and all. and the one thing i cannot believe, is that it is so freaking cold in summer. hell. and there are people suntanning on the beach! ohmigosh. they are suntanning when it's so damn cold! and in the suburbs, people walk in the cold in, gasp, bikinis. hell! this is very different from Singapore. you walk around in a bikini in Singapore and people will like stare and say "siao". but it's kinda the norm there. and speaking of beaches, the waves there are gigantic. big. so it's not a surprise that there are so many erosional landforms. btw, the Twelve Apostles in the Great Ocean Road is an erosional landform. i shall not explain too much. haha.

then came Melbourne City. it's crazy there. it's horrible. cars everywhere. and the map is kinda confusing. we spent the 1st day there wandering about in the city. it's just crazy, the city. hate it. i love the countryside. peaceful and quiet.

so that's a big summary of my trip. the only way to know the whole story, is to well, go on the trip. haha. to be honest, i forgot most of it lah. sheesh. so yeah, it was good.
